Privacy Policy

Effective 6 October 2026. Tilo is built to keep your puzzles on your phone.

This policy describes how MB Tacet Universum (“we”), V. Nagevičiaus g. 3, Vilnius, Lithuania, handles information in the Tilo mobile apps (Android and iOS).

1. Solo play stays on the device

Theme, haptics, preferred word length, daily stats, and in-progress rounds are stored locally on your phone. We do not require an account, email, password, or name to play Daily, Unlimited, Pulse, Relay, Handoff, or any other solo modes.

2. Optional definitions

When a round ends and you are online, Tilo may request a short gloss from the Free Dictionary API (api.dictionaryapi.dev). That request contains only the answer word. If the request fails, the app still works; the definition is omitted.

3. Online matches & anonymous sessions

If you enter the Online tab (Live Duel, Battle Royale), Tilo uses a secure backend (powered by Supabase) to create an anonymous player session. We store minimal match coordination data: match metadata (game mode, word length, puzzle seed), your anonymous player identifier, guess count, and spoiler-free board marks so opponents can see live progress. We do not collect your real name, email, phone number, or device location.

4. Automatic 30-day data deletion

We do not store your data indefinitely. Inactive anonymous player accounts, temporary match boards, and associated online records are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers after 30 days of inactivity through an automated scheduled purge job.

5. Optional feedback

Settings lets you send an optional short note (bug, idea, feedback). That message, your anonymous player identifier, and the app version are stored securely so we can read and resolve issues. Please do not include personal information in feedback.

6. What we do not do

• No ads, tracking SDKs, or third-party analytics trackers.
• No selling, renting, or trading player data to brokers or advertisers.
• No paywalls, subscriptions, or predatory monetization.

7. Deletion & Contact

Uninstalling Tilo removes all local puzzles, settings, and stats from your device. Online multiplayer data automatically expires after 30 days of inactivity. If you wish to manually request immediate deletion of an anonymous session or submitted feedback before the 30-day window, contact us at support@lovly.lt.
